Gursey | Schneider’s Unwavering Commitment To Our Clients & Employees

We wanted to take a moment let you know how Gursey | Schneider is responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. First and foremost, we are not panicking; as you will read, G|S was well positioned to meet the challenges presented by this global health crisis. We know your inboxes have been inundated with “responses to COVID-19″ emails, however we hope you will take a moment to read below and be secure in the knowledge G|S is well prepared.

Rest assured, G|S’ number one priority is the safety and well-being of our people, clients, families, and the communities in which we live and work. As such, we are assessing the situation daily, will remain vigilant, and continue to follow all recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local authorities. We continue to share this guidance with our staff so they are fully informed on how to protect themselves and their families against transmission of the virus.

With our headquarters in Los Angeles, always under the threat of natural disaster, we long ago implemented a business continuity/disaster recovery plan which considered the necessary contingencies for operating remotely in case of emergency.  Our internal business continuity plans have been tested and refined over the years, allowing us to provide clients with the same high level of support they have grown accustomed to.  On Thursday, March 12th, after confirming there was a coronavirus case in the building across the street from our Century City office, we put our staff on notice we would be implementing a temporary telecommuting plan effective Friday, March 13th. We are pleased to report, as anticipated, our business continuity plan is operating seamlessly. We will continue to provide services, and meet all our clients’ needs and deadlines throughout this period of uncertainty.

G|S pledges while we remain focused on the health and safety of our staff and those around us, we are resolute in our commitment to service our clients. Despite our temporary telecommuting status, our client services will continue to operate as normal with the assistance of our strong technology team. Our systems and data are housed in a highly redundant offsite data center, allowing our staff to be agile and mobile. Due to our robust video, and call control systems, all lines of communication remain open: our staff is still available to respond to your needs as they arise. Most importantly, our commitment to security also remains intact; our remote working model allows our staff to access all systems and in-house data over secure, encrypted channels using state-of-the-art VPN and remote technologies.

As we navigate through these uncharted times together, we want to confirm Gursey | Schneider remains fully operational and ready to respond to your needs.  We hope you and your loved ones are well, and we are here if you need us.
