Meet Michael
Michael Merry is a Senior Manager in our Tax and Accounting Department, where he provides expert advice and guidance to HNWIs and their businesses. He has over a decade of experience in the industry, specializing in stock compensation planning, trusts and estates, real estate partnerships, and family limited partnerships. In his current role, Michael loves helping his clients optimize their tax strategies and achieve their financial goals.
Michael has a bachelor’s degree in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and a master’s degree in taxation from San Jose State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Michael currently lives in McKinney, TX, where he enjoys the warm weather, the friendly people, and the vibrant culture of his adopted home. When he is not working, Michael likes to spend as much time as possible with his wife and two daughters (2 and 5 years old, both of which want to become princesses when they grow up). He also likes to stay fit by running and working out regularly, and is an avid golfer and Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
