Meet Kristen

Kristen L. Gillespie, CPA/ABV/CFF joined the firm’s litigation support department in 2005 and became a partner in 2017.  She specializes in the area of forensic accounting in family law litigation matters and performs a wide range of accounting services, including business appraisals, determination of gross cash flow available for support, analyses of marital standard of living, characterization of assets, and reimbursement claims.

Kristen is currently serving as Vice Chair of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants Family Law Section and was nominated to co-chair their annual Family Law Conference for 2016 and 2017. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and was awarded the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation and the Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) accreditation.

Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to joining Gursey | Schneider LLP, she was a senior auditor at a multinational accounting firm.
